After waiting 5 months, Adam has finally bought the flat screen TV to go in our living room. However, being the deal-finder that he is, he couldn't turn down the "deal of the century" on a 50" flat screen, even though our mantle is clearly smaller than that. The picture doesn't do it justice, but notice that the tv is wider than the fireplace. Notice also that it's on the floor, b/c not only were we unable to lift it, it wouldn't fit on the mantle. Lucy and Mary Beck did get to enjoy their "shows" on a 50" screen for one night, but first thing the next morning, we packed it up and returned it to the store. No need to worry, though. We didn't come home empty handed. Now when you come to visit, you'll be able to see the tv from every seat in the living room.
